I am an experienced economist and strategist with over eight years of expertise in analyzing global economic risks, producing data-driven macro and market reports, and forecasting time-series data. In my present role at CalPERS, my work involves analyzing macro and market movements, identifying key secular or cyclical drivers, and conducting quantitative forecasts to support Total Fund portfolio positioning.
Prior to CalPERS, I was a US Economist at Deloitte USI, authoring thought leadership reports covering a wide variety of micro and macro topics focused on the US. I also helped develop and ran the current quarter model for US GDP.
Prior to Deloitte, I tracked Asian economies in a similar capacity. I hold a Bachelor's and a Master's Degree in Economics and I have certifications in Machine Learning and Data Science for Economists, Time-Series Analysis and Forecasting, and Business Applications of Statistics and Data Analytics from the National Association for Business Economics (NABE).
I am currently looking for job opportunities with work sponsorship.
